The Art of Moving: Pickfords Partners with Heath Robinson Museum for the Ralph Steadman Exhibition
We are thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between Pickfords Move Management Ltd, the UK’s leading removals and storage company, and the Heath Robinson Museum for the upcoming Ralph Steadman Exhibition. This landmark exhibition, featuring 62 of Steadman’s iconic artworks, will be a spectacular celebration of the legendary illustrator’s unparalleled creativity.
As Steadman’s works prepare to captivate audiences from 15th February to 10th May at the Heath Robinson Museum, Pickfords will be overseeing all logistical aspects of the exhibition. This includes the careful storage, transport, and installation of each piece—ensuring every detail is handled with the utmost care.
A Seamless Process from Start to Finish
Moving art isn’t just about getting it from point A to point B—it’s about treating it with the respect and attention it deserves. Pickfords’s involvement in this exhibition ensures that every piece of art will be in safe hands throughout its journey. From the moment each artwork is carefully packed into Pickfords’s state-of-the-art, arts-accredited storage facility in London, to its eventual display at the museum, the team will be there every step of the way.
Pickfords’s London warehouse, which spans the size of 14 tennis courts and houses over 1,800 storage containers, is one of Europe’s most secure, fire-safe storage locations. With cutting-edge automated systems, this facility ensures that the artworks are preserved in optimal conditions, ready for display.
In addition to Pickfords’s expert storage and transport services, a team of specialist art movers will handle the delicate installation process at the museum, ensuring that each artwork is placed with care and precision.

This partnership isn’t just about logistics—it’s about protecting a legacy. Ralph Steadman’s work has inspired generations of fans, and the chance to bring these masterpieces together in one exhibition is a momentous occasion.
