Mohammed Nasr is a vascular surgeon at Northwick Park Hospital, and a volunteer in the Heath Robinson Museum.
'I was looking at some surgical equipment and one of my colleagues said that it was “a bit Heath Robinson.” I became interested in Heath Robinson and have free time at weekends, so when I saw the adverts I decided to volunteer. My generation played with Meccano, so the contraptions are very close to my heart – it reminds me of being a child.
‘People who come here are very interesting. I have never had the experience of being in a museum before and I enjoy it.'
