I worked at the Royal College of Physicians for nearly 30 years, most recently as Head of the Surveys and Data Insights team, before taking a new direction after being made redundant in December 2025.
I’ve always had a strong interest in the arts, museums and exhibitions, so volunteering at the Heath Robinson Museum felt like a lovely opportunity to do something completely different. I’m a Gallery Assistant and particularly enjoy meeting visitors, chatting about the exhibitions and being part of the friendly volunteer team. I love Heath Robinson’s wonderfully inventive and eccentric illustrations, and the humour and imagination that run through his work.
Outside the museum, I enjoy art, film, and am a keen theatre goer. I like to keep active, currently learning Spanish and have recently started pottery classes — so there’s always something new to keep me busy!
