‘Silk Saris, Street Food, and the British Dream’: A British Indian’s Journey
Presented by Bridge India in collaboration with The Heath Robinson Museum

An Afternoon of Culture, Conversation, and Transformation

Welcome: A Kaleidoscope of Colour and Culture
Set against the dynamic and thought-provoking backdrop of Ketna Patel’s REMIXOLOGY Pop Art Exhibition, this event explores migration, identity, and transformation through a visually rich lens.

Conversation: The British Indian Journey
Join us for an intellectually enriching afternoon featuring Ram Gidoomal CBE, author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Ram shares his extraordinary journey—from a privileged upbringing in Mombasa, through the turbulence of Partition and displacement, to rebuilding a purposeful and impactful life in the UK. His story exemplifies resilience, reinvention, and humanity.

In conversation with Prabhu Guptara, celebrated writer and founder of Pippa Rann Books & Media, they’ll explore the complexities of cultural identity and the transformative power of adaptation within the British Indian diaspora.

This event is more than a conversation—it’s an enriching cultural experience bridging visual art and storytelling.
Book your tickets now for this inspiring fusion of ideas, art, and creativity!
