A LEGO Sculpture on Display in the Museum

The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm is on sale in the Museum shop.

We are pleased to announce that a LEGO sculpture of one of Heath Robinson’s iconic drawings, The Professor’s Invention for Peeling Potatoes, is now on display in the Permanent Gallery. The sculpture is a 3D realisation by Neil Marsden of a drawing from The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm by Norman Hunter (1933) and republished many times. A blog post by Neil about the model may be seen at cultofthebrick.blogspot.com. He describes his journey from the original “Digital LEGO” to the physical model we see here. We are grateful to Neil for the loan of the model.
