We are thrilled to be invited to host the exhibition ‘Scene Through Wood’ created by the Ashmolean Museum to mark the centenary of the Society of Wood Engravers. It will show wood engravings of the past 100 years, featuring artists such as Moore and Ravilious. As Heath Robinson’s family had a history of wood engraving it is fitting we display this exhibition, which will bring a new audience to the museum. We need to raise £6,500 to host the exhibition, which far exceeds our normal budget.
Donate to the Heath Robinson Museum
We get no financial support from national or local government to run the museum. We rely on the support of everyone who loves Heath Robinson, enjoys visiting the museum and wants to see Pinner thrive. Please consider supporting us with a donation, volunteering and/or becoming a Friend of the Museum.
Every penny that you donate will help us to ensure that we can continue to:
- be the definitive collection of the work of William Heath Robinson in the world
- bring in great visiting exhibitions on many different themes relating to the work and the times of William Heath Robinson
- ensure that our building, the first new museum in London for over 40 years, is well maintained and always welcoming
From time to time we run fundraising campaigns for specific purposes. If the campaign exceeds its goal, any additional funds will go to conservation of recent acquisitions.
