Pinner Local Donation

David Elliott said “The Museum is a great community project and we are looking forward to the opening. People will want to be associated with it and it will be a wonderful asset to Pinner. We will be taking lots of photos of it!”

For 10 years, Pinner Local web site has showcased the best of Pinner, supporting, advising and promoting local businesses and community events. Pinner people know they can rely on Pinner Local founders David Elliott and Geoff Brown to chronicle, photograph and record local events – in all weathers – and with their indefatigable good humour and in-depth local knowledge, both have become
stalwarts of the region. Geoff and David are also longstanding supporters of the
Heath Robinson Museum development and have presented the Trust with a donation of £350 from the proceeds of the sale of their 10-year anniversary calendar.

Receiving the cheque at a presentation ceremony held at Pinner’s West House, acting chairman of the Trust Cynthia Wells commented: “David and Geoff’s website is a mine of information and the pair do so much for the community, publicising charitable events for free on their website and also supporting events. It is really encouraging to know we have their support in such a tangible way, namely raising money for the Heath Robinson museum through the sale of their calendars.”
