Recycled Musical Mayhem with the Junk Orchestra

To complement the Heath Robinson Museum’s acclaimed new exhibition “Rejuvenated Junk” exhibition, which runs until 3 September, join us in the Museum Activity Studio on Saturday 22 July for a very special afternoon of recycled musical mayhem!

This all comes courtesy of Mr Junkman and The Junk Orchestra,
a wonderful tuned collection of recycled objects rescued from the urban wasteland.

Listen to the performance and join in the workshop… Bring your own recycling material and build an instrument to take home.  Become the band – and boogie on down to the recycled beats: from the Twilight zone to foot-stomping fun!

As this is a very popular event, we have scheduled four sessions, with start times 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. So book your place now!

This event is suitable for all ages.

Items to bring with you for the workshop are: two tins, two yogurt pots, two plastic bottles and one biscuits/sweets tub (small/large).
