Jill Cock is a long-time volunteer at the Museum, her involvement dating back to the early 2,000s when the West House Museum was first opened before the building of our “new” museum opened in 2016.
Jill is often to be seen at the cash desk and volunteers regularly at the museum, doing the morning shift 11am to 1.15pm every Thursday and every other Sunday. She enjoys “the opportunity to meet people, to encourage them to buy things in the shop, being with the other volunteers and forming a close-knit group”.
Particular exhibitions Jill has liked include The Brothers Robinson, Heath Robinson at War with its gentle humour, and Heath Robinson and Advertising. She would like more people in Pinner to know about the Museum and more promotion to tell everyone about it.
