A student at Northwood School, Kate is studying biology, chemistry, maths and business at “A” levels. She and her family arrived from Hong Kong three years ago and Kate has volunteered at the museum for the last six months, acting as a steward in the galleries every Saturday morning.
Kate says , “I like having something useful to do at the weekends and talking to new people, it builds up my confidence”. She also feels it will be helpful for University interviews to “have something to talk about”.
Kate’s hobbies are skating, reading comics and fencing; it’s to our great advantage that “volunteering at the Heath Robinson Museum” is also one of her favourite pastimes.
